New Rider School 2003
One of the things that we learned last year was that
new riders wanted a little more “no pressure”
track time to learn how a bike designed to ride “off-road”,
would handle itself on an asphalt race track.
What is going to happen is that our 1-day schedules
from 2002 are turning into 2-day schedules for 2003.
Race day is still Sunday for the supermotard bikes.
Saturday’s schedule will include a New Riders School
in it’s activities.
All new riders, will be required to attend the SuperBikers2,
LLC New Rider School. With this, new riders will have
a short “classroom session”, some “shop”
time, and many laps of low pressure riding with up to
2 instructors. The classroom session will allow SuperBikers2,LLC
personal to go over the general rules, riding, and racing
format of the series. The “shop” session will
cover the race bike and it’s preparation. The final
step will be track time, and a lot of it. New riders
can look forward to roughly 75 laps of track time to
help them prepare themselves for the most fun they will
have on a bike.
The cost of the school/track time is $60. Any new rider
will be able to sign-up at the track on the Saturday
before their first race.
