Do
You Know Anyone New
I am sure that most of you know that our
sport is in need of new riders. Or at least more riders.
I have been trying to recruit new riders to supermoto
everytime I get to come to a practice day. Some have
transferred to racing. Some just come to practice days.
Either way, it helps our sport, and the turn out to
any of the racing events.
Aug 29th is a Sunday practice at RA. I
generally go to weekends as the weekday practices are
difficult for me to go with the daily duties of the
dealership. But my goal has been to try and bring at
least one new rider to have them try this out. I always
bring at least 1 extra bike for this reason alone. If
you know of someone that has always wanted to try riding
an SM bike, contact me. I may have a bike available
for them to try. Call me, text me, e-mail me. I have
2 Yamaha YZF's, one TTR230 and my XR100. I also have
some DRZ400's available to use every now and then.
August 29 is the next weekend that RA
has a practice. September 5 is another. There is also
a NorthwoodsGP race event Sept 4-5. It is harder to
get a new rider up to speed at a race but not impossible.
